Curved Stairlifts

Quite a number of houses built in Dublin and Ireland have level to level access via a stairs with a turn or turns on it.

Because of the turns in the construction of the staircase, a straight stairlift will not work correctly in this application.

The result of this is that stairlift manufacturers came up with “Curved Stairlifts” as a solution. As the name would suggest, the stairlift flows with the curve or curves of the stairs.

Because the majority of curved stairs are different to each other, every curved stairlift is custom designed and built to exactly replicate the stairs that it is going to be fitted to.

We come to your premises, inspect and measure the stairs and discuss the best options available to you from the various curved stairlift manufacturers.

Once we have all agreed the correct solution, we then re-visit with you and take an in-depth photo survey to ensure exactness in the tailoring of the curved stairlift to your requirements.

From sign off, the manufacturing process currently takes 3-4 weeks. Once the curved stairlift arrives at our workshop from the manufacturer it can be fitted within 1 day.
